Re: Huge AUP3 project issue

He has sent me the huge file (445 MB as 7z) and I can make it
available to any developer that wants to take a look, but he has asked
me not to make the project public, so I'll send a link to the file on
request.

On my (Linux) computer with Audacity 3.0.2, I can open the file,
reverse the first track, Undo, Save, Exit, and the file shrinks to 186
MiB. So it seems that "something" is stopping compaction from working
on his (Windows 10) machine.

Conjecture: Perhaps this is also related to the extreme slowness that
some  users are experiencing.
