Steven,

In windows device manager I search for audio, then manage audio devices, 
then tab recording; I see

  * Microphone 2 usb ready
  * Microphone realtek default

Same result when I right click the speaker symbol and select recording 
devices

So the mixer is not showing up at all; should it?
