It is difficult to include such feature unless there was some way to 
calibrate the sound level. This is not so simple since it may depend on 
several factors, for instance:

1) The power of the audio system being used and whether it has speakers 
or earphones
2) The volume setting and the volume curve of the computers's audio driver
3) The amplitude of the input signal in case it comes from an external 
source through the line input
4) The gain and sensitivity of the external amplifier - speaker set / 
powered speakers
5) The spectral content of the signal
6) The individual tolerance to loud sound levels as well as the hearing 
health state

What could be done is to provide a test procedure to get information 
from a self-reported unconfortable level under the actual worst-case 
conditions in which the system will be used.
