Audacity freezing

Hi everyone,
Is this a known bug or am I the only one having this problem? I
updated my Audacity to the latest version a couple weeks ago, 2.4.6 I
believe, Windows 10 laptop. When I try to use timer record, Audacity
freezes. I can get the issue to happen in two different scenarios:
1. When I tell timer record to export the file automatically at the
end of the recording session then confirm everything, Audacity becomes
unresponsive and must be ended via Task Manager.
2. If I tell Audacity not to save or export the project once the
recording is complete, I can actually get it to record, but when the
recording finishes, again Audacity becomes unresponsive and must be
ended via task manager.
