Hmm, haven't really looked into that 'cause I just figured it would be extra overhead. Can one send midi in *and* out to the ~csound object? And can one get multi stream audio out from it? I assume that once Csound5 is functional it will get well-jacked and be ideal, but I'm not sure when that will be! I like the idea of jack allowing audio to leave and come back into Csound for effect processing.
