That's correct. Accuraterip doesn't change your rip, it just compares the results of your rip to their database. If other people have ripped the same disc the results of your rip will be compared against the results of previous rips of the same disc. It tells you whether you're getting an accurate rip relative to the results of previous people ripping the same disc. Hope this helps.
