Ok Mike, You have hit the nail on the head, so far I have only been trying to playback on the laptop I have EAC on, so it uses Grove Music player at it's Windows 10. It's Grove music that is the problem.
 I have just used an old laptop with Windows 7 and Windows Media player on it and navigated to my NAS drive. The tracks I had put in a folder and named Pat Metheny;Tokyo Day trip, were recognised as an album and played as an album. the only problem being that the file in the folder with a jpeg of the album cover ( which came from EAC) wasn't used by Media player. What I really need now is a media player that I can install on Windows 10 that works like Windows Media Player(which can't be installed on Windows 10) and might use the folder artwork. I might have to consider an Android playback system as a lot of app players are available on this format.
