I use CLZ Music, which does the CD OK but allows you to manually enter the rest. Works on Mobile and Laptop or both.

Subject: [EAC] Catalog Music collection
I recognize this is not an EAC question and apologize if this is not allowed, but thought this group might have some good suggestions.
I would like to catalog my music collection which is made up of most media formats – vinyl, cassette, reel-to-reel, 8-track, cd and digital (FLAC, MP3, WMA, etc.). In some cases an album is in multiple formats. While some use Excel type solutions, I want a true DB that can allow for more complex searching.
I wish to have the following functionality:
* The normal information such as album title and artist, individual track titles, any additional information obtainable.
* By obtainable, I mean I would like to be able to search for this information rather than input manually.
* I would also like to be able to indicate different formats for each album record rather than have a different record for each format.
* Location for each media source. (Physical for physical items and storage location for digital)
* Loans would be nice, but not necessary

I have seen cataloging programs for CDs where you put the CD in and it does a lookup which is fine for CDs, but I would like to be able to put album title and have a lookup for other formats. It seems that this is pretty easy for CDs and there are many programs to organize digital collections, but when you add other media it seems there are fewer options and they are more difficult regarding data input. Additionally, keeping album formats together seems to be unsupported in exchange for a record for each format.
I would prefer free, but am willing to pay for a solution that does what I want.
I would appreciate your thoughts.
Mike
