But I'm getting the error exactly with CDRDAO. With the built-in writer nothing happens when clicking the "Create Offset Test CD" button like I said before.
 

 The drive model as reportd by EAC is: PIONEER BD-RW BDR-X09 1.00". I also forgot to mention I didn't find any FW available for the drive on the vendor web site.
