Seems to me that there's a lot of stuff out there being sold by lazy manufacturers who do the bare minimum necessary to be able to claim their item has a particular feature without actually bothering to implement it properly. Anyone who's dealt with this kind of thing in the past will instinctively know that the affected Acura audio systems are also unable to produce gapless playback. 70 years after the introduction of the Long Playing record, gapless is still frequently prohibited by set-in-stone hardware limitations. But hey, it “streams”! Apologies for a bit of topic drift. This kind of thing has been a sore point for a long time.
