And then using dBpowramp I convert all files to uncompressed FLAC with overwrite option, That way I have wav like files but with all the metadata cover art and other illustrations and sometimes lyrics, So I don't have to miss the actual CD since I have transferred everything to a virtual album with all the goodies.. After all of that work, does your player work any better than it does with normal FLAC files at modest compression levels? Is the interface smoother or has this eliminated some sort of problem with stuttering, or delayed, playback?
