CD drive

I have been successfully using my Plextor PX-712UF drive for ripping CDs using EAC. But now need to replace this with a new CD drive. I would be grateful for recommendations from EAC users. A drive that is compatible both with PC and MAC hosts would be preferable. Derek M Hall Lincs.
