Agreed. That’s the only feasible and ethical approach I see. Unfortunately, many members don’t get individual or daily digest email, instead coming to the website to read the messages on a very infrequent basis. It’s a certainty that most of them won’t see the notice about the creation of the new group. They will just discover all of the old content is gone.
