I'm running it now and it's working. I think it may not have liked my
version of Python (3.8) before, but now I'm using Python 2.7 and things
downloading. I'm taking messages only (no files) from one group (not
this one yet) and only 999 at a time. Once I'm more confident I may work
in batches of 9999, which I hear is Yahoo's limit before they block you.
I see that the messages are in json format - I was expecting more
standard-format EML format. The jsons appear to have all the header and
body information in them, but I'm not sure yet what program to parse or
organize them with. But at least the data has been captured.

I tried a couple of times to use the Yahoo Download Manager. The first
time I accidentally used the wrong account. I did actually get an email
a couple of days later saying my groups info was ready, but when I got
it, it was empty, which is actually correct. I resubmitted it with the
correct account, and almost a week later... crickets. I submitted it
again yesterday, but I don't expect any result.
