What are you seeing in the log file that indicates the disc was ripped
twice? and if you look in the directory that holds the resulting FLAC
files, do you see more than one copy of each track?
As an example, here is part of a log file showing the extraction results
for one track of a recently-ripped CD:
Track 7
Filename G:\Music\CDrips-8\FLAC\Various Artists\(Beethoven) Complete
Works, Vol. 87\07 Grosse Fugue in B-flat major Op. 133.wav
Peak level 91.0 %
Extraction speed 1.6 X
Track quality 99.6 %
Copy CRC 2AA0392C
Cannot be verified as accurate (confidence 5) [9249F7C1], AccurateRip
returned [F514CD17] (AR v2)
Copy OK
EAC ripped this track, and then ran the FLAC compressor to compress it to
FLAC. My copy of EAC has the box checked that tells it to delete the
original wav after compressing, so my directory has only the filename
ending in .flac. If EAC didn't delete the original wav, I'd see both the
..flac and a .wav for the same track.
What are you seeing?
