No error message from the command prompt after running EAC (i.e., it just gives you another command prompt)? Yes I have rebooted several times. I do kill all instances of EAC I have run CMD CD C:\Program Files (x86)\Exact Audio Copy\ EAC.exe has no effect at all. It doesn't even start a process so I must be doing something wrong. I then needed to restart it later and nothing happens. I get a process running but that is it. I have tried uninstalling. Deleting HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AWSoftware\EAC But I can't seem to make any difference. It just sits as a background process and won't run I assume you have used Task Manager to kill all running instances of EAC? Any ideas? Have you tried rebooting? I did see about options of running EAC from a command line but I don't think I know how to do that. Open a command window, change directory to C:\Program Files\Exact Audio Copy, and run EAC.exe -- but make sure there are NO RUNNING INSTANCES of EAC in Task Manager before you do that.
