Re: EAC converting to WAV only but not FLAC

Hi Mike,
Sad to report that after trying out everything you suggested, giving full access to FLAC command, EAC and related folders and having Admin access, still found not get EAC to rip to FLAC.

 You should be able to see/need to find out what the working directory is for the FLAC command.   Select that directory and and right-click for Properties, click the Sharing tab, and make sure your Username shows full access. 
   I'm no expert, and I think it takes Administrator access, but it worked for me.   Good luck!

   I remember that something exactly like this happened to me after an upgrade maybe last year.   Everything in EAC worked fine EXCEPT that the FLAC command line would fail, so I got only wav files.   I found that I no longer had Write Permission in that directory after the upgrade!   The fix was to add Windows permission for that User for that Directory, to allow the FLAC command to complete successfully.   I hope this makes sense and might help!   Mike Patrick

I am a newbie at this and would like to know if anyone can help me with this.
  I have tried the setting up and configuration but nothing seem to work.   I was able to get FLAC before, but since replacing my PC and installing latest EAC version 1.5, unable to rip to flac. I am using Windows 10. Any help will be appreciated.
