I don't have EAC set up on my Windows 10 computer, just on Windows 7.
Maybe it's your command line and/or options? What happens when you click
the "Test encoder" button?

Here's my settings, using FLAC version 1.3.2:

=============

Compression Options | External Compression:

[x] Use external program for compression

Parameter passing scheme: User Defined Encoder

Use file extension: .flac

Program, including path: C:\ProgFiles\FLAC\win64\flac.exe

Additional command-line options: --compression-level-6 --verify -T
"artist=%artist%" -T "title=%title%" -T "album=%albumtitle%" -T
"date=%year%" -T "tracknumber=%tracknr%" -T "genre=%genre%" %source%

Bit rate: 986 kBits/s

[x] Delete WAV after compression
[x] Check for external programs return code
[x] High Quality
