RE: EAC converting to WAV only but not FLAC

Why don’t you send screen shots with your configuration settings, maybe someone can see something.  My experience is that EAC is a well tested application, but with all its functionality it can easily be misconfigured and thus the results will become erroneous to the intention.  That is, problem are usually user caused rather than software caused.

The "test encoder" button does not return any errors.

 

Maybe I should try EAC version 1.3.2 with your configuration and see what happens.

I don't have EAC set up on my Windows 10 computer, just on Windows 7. 
Maybe it's your command line and/or options? What happens when you click 
the "Test encoder" button?

Here's my settings, using FLAC version 1.3.2:
