Agreed. There should be a minimum set of required tags, the spelling and order of which cannot be modified. The ability to add tags is wonderful, especially for businesses and institutions. For example, I could envision a law office adding tags for things like case number, plaintiff name, defendant name, deposition date, exhibit number, etc.

Agreed on all counts, including the slight disappointment in the lack of a CRC/MD5/etc. for detection of file corruption. I think it’s an Apple thing. When they came up with their APFS disk format, they neglected to put any kind of ZFS-like bit-flip detection and correction capability. Another unfortunate decision, but not a deal-breaker.
