For what it is worth, I get messages automatically from the site and don’t go onto Yahoo to search. Perhaps that is my fault and part of what has happened over the years. It is also possible that Jeffery didn’t see the mails about unsubscribing when he reacted to the first request and did the same thing, but it was funny how it was requested right after the solution was presented. My guess is that it is a bite more work for a moderator to go onto Yahoo and delete someone than it is for someone to click unsubscribe; maybe not a lot of work, but more than should be needed when such a simple solution exists.

I have no problem with the response.

This "stupid conversation" has been going on for at least 15 years. And every time it starts back up, we lose more members who get annoyed with seeing the 'unsubscribe-me’ messages sent to the entire group. There have probably been several hundred messages on the topic of unsubscribing. That’s why I am particularly frustrated by it.

As can be seen in this response, which contains a complete copy of what I
received, there are no instructions about this mail list being sent out.
Makes it kinda hard to unsubscribe when there are no instructions.
