Thanks for keeping this going. I have submitted the request for the 
other group. I don't know how many members there are in the current 
group, but I suspect fewer than half will actually resubscribe.

Looking at the comparison of the free vs. premium group at 
https://groups.io/static/compare I don't see anything that is remotely 
useful in the premium group for the nature of this group. (The only 
feature that could have been useful--Direct Add of members--is disabled 
for the "1st free month of premium" offer anyway.)

Not sure why Google Groups was not used here. Not that I'm a fan of 
Google and their very shaky record of support and abrupt cancellation of 
services, but I evaluated the two and chose Google Groups for my small 
group of 40 members solely because they permitted direct add (only 10 at 
a time and max 100 per day, which was fine for my small group but 
probably doesn't help for large groups like this one).
