I have a system with Audiowerk 8 card [rev A board I think] and Griffin gPort serial port with Opcode Studio 64x midi interface. I recently performed same upgrade using Archive and Install option. I then re-installed Audiowerk 8 OS X driver and gPort drivers and both Audiowerk 8 and serial port are both recognised and working fine with 10.4.7 and Logic Pro 7.1.1 and subsequently 7.2.1.
