Message posted by Dom <[email protected]>: martin, I think the reason for the tight timing on your system is the use of a PCI card for core audio. I have tested it with a firewire interface (moto 828) and the random timing offset is just about unacceptable for me. I thin it has something to do with Apple's firewire implementation that seems to change the buffer each time on playback. The problem is that the RME card for PCIe is only really supported for Intel Macs and not PPC G5 (as far as I could work out). The only other option I have thought about is Motu 2408 PCIe but that seems a bit of overkill just to get some core audio into TDM. Anybody got better solutions? Is it best to just move to Intel? ________________________________________________________________________ Logic TDM Users Group - new forums! http://logic-users.org/forums/L-TDM - To UNSUBSCRIBE: email [email protected] - Search the entire archive: http://logic-users.org/forums/L-TDM/search Yahoo!
