L8/PT7.4/Intel-Is it stable enough ?

 Was thinking of doing it when the new processor 8core comes out. Just
wondering if people are running into conflicts? I am still on PPC Quad
with L7.2.3/PT 7.3.1cs5/HDAccel 5 and it's pretty stable. Not planning
on using ESB.

 Just trying to get a sense of how much frustration I am in for.
