Logic 8/ PT 7.3HD G5 dual 1.8....I can't get Logic 8 to not freeze or crash

Would upgrading the video card in the G5 help? I've noticed on other intel
macs that the graphics are more intensive with L8..

Currently in the G5 there's a Nvidia Geforce 5300 with 64Vram. Pretty basic
huh?

any tips appreciated.
