I'm feeling ready to take the plunge into the unknown and would
appreciate any help I can find here.

I have an HD 2 system running PT 6.9 and Logic 7.1.1 that "works"
(along with usual bugs) but would like to try to move to the latest and
fastest Logic and PT that work together. I see posts here from people
that have this combo working successfully, but I know it's a very
sensitive combination of computer models, software versions and OS
versions.

I assume I should lose my g4 dual 1.25 - so that's the first question -
which PCI computer (I have PCI cards) to use? -something fast that
works with this combo.

Then, which OS, which exact PT version and which Logic version? And
lastly - where to get the PT upgrades (I have a license for PT7)

If I can approach any of you directly off the forum I would LOVE that,
especially if you have a solid Logic 8/TDM system with working ESB and
DTDM.

Thanks, as always

Greg
