Logic 8 w Digidesign CoreAudio manager and a "HW in use" error

Hi there,

I'm supposed to mix some work in a big studio with ProTools 6.2.3 - I have ProTools latest 
CoreAudio manager 7.4 installed. Last night it was working fine. Withoput any changes that 
I'm aware of this morning the Digi CoreAudio manager reports a status : Not Connected (HW 
in use) error.

Any ideas what causes this? Help is much appreciated....
