No Audition in Apple Loops

Dear All,

I don't know if this has been covered before, but I've always had the
following problem:

when I open Apple Loops (in Logic Pro 7 or 8) sometimes I get the
audition by clicking on the relevant loop within the Loop Browser and
it plays back without any problems and now, most of the times I get no
audio unless I drag the loop into a Direct TDM track.

I've always used the same autoload song and I can't understand how
this works. It's obviously very tedious to drag all the loops I want
to listen to into the arrange window.

Any suggestion would be very much appreciated
