I've found native system timing to be bad no matter what computer you use. As soon as you add plug ins, timing is all over the place and inconsistent. I've found native systems un-usable for serious mixing. ProTools has always had rock solid timing. I stayed with Mix plus and bought another G4 dual 1.42 so that I could reap the benefits of both Logic and ProTools. The down side of course is the planned obsolescence syndrome. It's "not cool" to be behind the times. But then in my opinion CD's and anything digital sucks and that's one of the reasons the industry has collapsed.
