logic 8 and spotlight

Hi Setting up a new installl of LP8 and PT 7.4 on an Intel mac os 10.4.9.  I
have Spotlight Disabled for Protools.  When I open Spacedesigner, It can't
locate the root folder for its presets.  I blame this on Spotlight being
disabled.  Any work around to this?  Reenable spotlight periodically and
then index?  I assume the missing root folder issue will creep into the
inspector, loop browser and other functions as well?  any advice?  Thanks!
