Logic Tdm - DTDM & Spectrasonics Stylus RMX

Hi - Anyone using this set up - Powermac PPC dual 2.7 G5 Logic 8.02 PT 6.4  Accel 2 using 
Logic TDM & DTDM for the use of Logics plugins and 3rd party plugins?
I thought i was being normal here, but when i asked Spectrasonics about this set up they said 
it was "not supported" so I presume I should be using TDM and / or Core Audio. Seemed 
crazy to me, as on the whole it's all pretty stable, but using RMX in Groove mode the loops 
trigger infuriatingly off - time AAAAarrggghh!! So near but yet so far!
Anyone using this set up successfully or should i be considering another way of working?
I use Logics instruments and Spectrasonics all the time so i need to be able to access them. 
But I also Love Pro tools plugins too!!
