Yes Mark Make a midi region say 20 bars long, use the scissor to cut the last note in the region, watch it bounce back to bar 1. Also, if you set midi chase to "notes" with sustained unchecked, using the scissor or lasoing notes in the piano roll sems to return the setting to Notes sustained in its behaviour, the check box remains unchecked though. NOthing like listening to a 6 bar bass pad!! LP8 definitely feels less tentative in general, and I like it better than 7, but good lord, how about fixing the good old fundementals? Another thing I am amazed by is that independent pans or stereo width controls don't exist on stereo tracks or software instruments, MOTU put stereo width on the new Cuemix router software for their interfaces, and I am sure that's not even a near high priority software for them.
