Hey Jan I am using a quad 2.66 Intel Os 10.4.9 LP 8.02 and PT 7.4 cs5. Everything is very stable but there are issues with kontakt that seem to slow down the GUI to a crawl. Additionally the usual quirks. Input channel strips scatter randomly in the mixer. Use six channel strips as a work around. Environment layer import does not function correctly. Objects/channel strips randomly reassign type of channel strip and stereo assignment or lose i/o lose plug ins and esx patches. This I'd so bad its barely viable to add say a stemming template to an existing project. When inserting multiple instances of a stereo instrument say ESX the first is stereo and latter are mono. I have experienced some video sync weirdness too, movie start time reassigning when changing session start bar or smpte. In general u se things seem stable and slightly better than 7 but the GUI issue especially has me pretty disappointed. Any leopard users share their experience? Would any of you mind sharing your set-up with me if your system is stable. I'd like to know OSX, PT and Logic versions plus anything else that would help me set up my next system.
