Re: CONVERTING FROM COREAUDIO TO DTDM

I detailed this in another post but forgot one important part.  I think you must select all the DAE mixer objects and assign them to "off".  Do the conversion to DTDM (you should get the prompt at last!) and then reassign the TDM objects to their original state (a picture might help you remeber what's what).  Logic will remember their plugins and settings.  

Yes it's a pain!  But it should work.  If your TDM mix is not important to you than so much the better.

Your idea of running the Mac's optical output into the 96 I/O will work, but sync was always a problem for me with that setup.  It'll do in a pinch though.  I ran my setup that way for awhile, bouncing out native tracks and importing them into PT.
