Hello -
I've always used MOTU audio interfaces (usually 2408s, but just got a Traveler mk3). They sound great, are extremely good value for the money, and are very stable. A colleague who has used all the major interfaces in various contexts for years (studio and worldwide tours) says that the MOTU are the most stable of all. There are undoubtedly better-sounding converters in some of the (substantially more expensive) high-end interfaces, so that is a factor to consider.
Cheers,
ZM
