importing pitchbends from an smf..

Edgold has just posted in the Logic 9 forum of Logic Users Group under the title of importing pitchbends from an smf..

I opened my own MIDI file of Elgar's Enigma Variations in Logic. I noticed that none of the string pitchbends imported. 

Should I have set up some sort of preferences before the import?
