Running Logic 5.5.0 and SD 3.0.5 on OS9, but I cant get autolink and patch names to show
up in Logic.
Can someone tell me if each sub channel in the multi-instrument/environment layer needs
to have its program change button ticked? Or is program change ticked in the arrange
window enough? (ive tried both, but just need confirming which is correct)
Also for autolink to work with a multi-timbral instrument in the arrange window, should the
hardware synth be in its mutli-timbral mode already? ie performance mode as some
companies call it. It would follow that to get patch names for each midi-channel, that the
synth should be in this mode for things to work....?
I can get patch names to show up in the arrange window ONLY if my multi-timbral synths are
set up as single instruments, but not when set up as multi-ins :-(
