Right,

I've just managed to find the manual PDF and looked at that cable you  
mention. The pin
numbers are the giveaway. A straight cable would connect like for like  
pins 1-1, 2-2...etc.
If you look at the pin numbering they aren't connected like that so  
looks like it is a xover
cable.
