You can't use windows adaptations directly in Mac. When working on my tx816 adaptation in the past, somebody wrote a perl script so the windows adaptation could be used in Mac. 

This perl script is in the files section of the tx816 user group. I will see if I can upload it here.

I'm not sure if this script is also suitable for newer mac OS versions. Remember this script was made years ago.
