Hm, are you sure about this? I always thought adaptations are cross-
platform. Modules are not.
Under Mac OS9, you have to edit the resource fork before using an
adaptation that came from a WIndows machine. Maybe this is what your
Perl script does?
FWIW, I just grabbed an adaptation from an ancient definitely pre-OSX
backup CD of mine, copied it into the SoundDiver Adaptations folder
of my current Mac, started SoundDiver, and the adaptation ran just
fine. No conversion needed to be done.
