No problem if it occasionally crashes w/ Logic.
I don't usually run SD & Logic at the same time.

And Dean-

Interesting to hear you say the audio engine of L7 
is better than L8 or 9. 

I do recall hearing that before, but not very often.

The reason I'm finally upgrading is for some 3rd party plugs.
