I KNOW from people who teach Logic
from users, from people who do mastering
Logic 7 sounds better than 8, 9, etc.

I did not notice any difference in sound quality when upgrading from Logic 7. I did however notice a big improvement in latency of the internal instruments. Or was that when upgrading *to* Logic 7? I forget.
