10.6.8 + SD works for me on my intel c2d Mac mini.

Perhaps this is a silly question-
but how "big" is your 10.6.8 partition?

I'd imagine you'd want it as small as possible,
to keep most of the drive space current.
Likely I have no idea want I'm talking about. ; )
