I cant listen to it / look at it right now, but it is possible that its
triggering a bug in the envelope follower in the compressor or limiter. I
dont think thats particualrly likely though.

If the noise could possibly be something like that then you could try
passing that signal through the plugins individually, and see if you can
recreate it.
