Hi,

I have added some code which should address the noise issue that Fons
spotted. If someone has the time to test it that would be helpful.

I have checked here and there doesn't appear to be any added noise or
system load afaict. But I have a rather powerful machine and what I
consider noise vs music appears to be debatable anyway ;-)
