Jamin adds 1024 samples of latency to a signal on top of whatever 
latency is added by your system. It's really not a good choice for a 
crossover in a performance system with live performers. It would be 
great for DJing.

A few years ago, I did a digital crossover setup using Ardour and a 
plugin called EQ10T, which is sadly no longer maintained and impossible 
to compile in a modern operating system.

You can probably get excellent results with Calf's LV2 filter plugin, 
which looks like an IIR filter--meaning reduced latency. Alas, I no 
longer have my sound system, so I can't test this to see how it does in 
reality.
