The reason a new tab is not a desirable location is that it does not
follow the signal path flow of the main window UI which is not good UI
design and it will literrally be too much information to present with the
standard widgets without using a scrollable panel and that just ends up
looking a bit messy if half of the controls are hidden away by a
scrollview.

We can probably fit all the widgets into a new extended (collapsable)
lower panel *under* the compressors but we will need to be careful with
the total size if we use standard widgets.  However we may be able to come
with a very slick new custom widget if we put our minds to it...

The issue is how to display upto 8x xover bands + 8 x boost+limiter+volume
controls and meters without turning the interface into a complete monster
:-)

All only visible and active if explicitly requested, of course...
