I've just looked the diagram over, and I think that's a bit more 
complicated and at the same time less useful. That's two sets of 
crossovers, and two sets of limiters, and more volume controls that 
don't seem necessary.

The first crossover, instead of being fixed at 3-way, should be n-way 
(where n is up to whatever limit gets decided upon). Each band should 
then have its own compressor, with+balance adjustments, boost, output 
gain which can be ganged together, limiters that can be ganged together, 
and delay. This will simplify things greatly and reduce the number of 
widgets that have to be implemented.

Each of these separate chains would have its own outputs. If Jamin 
wanted, it could also present a pre-summed version that has its own 
limiter and final output gain.

IMO, a user is much more likely to want more separate compression bands 
than output crossover bands. Separate bands for sub-bass, mid-bass, 
mid-range, sibilance, and high treble, would be useful in any situation, 
but few people have 6-way speaker systems.
