This is the approach I have been taking so far but the new option is also
a valid method too. I think we can actually have both options. My new idea
is to have a seperate window for the second xover toolset.

I think we have an opportunity to do something very powerful without too
much effort or overhead.

It's trivial to swap the i/o's around in the final output.

The real issue is organising the interface so that it doesn't get out of
control.

We need to come up with a clean way to present the xover controls that
doesn't take up too much space. We should be able to fit more into the
same space that we are suing now without too much hassle. Maybe it's just
a case of reusing the pull bars from the hdeq as a custom widget in place
of the current sliders. We can make it a tabbed section if people would
like to keep the sliders for historical purposes.

However displaying all the compressors is going to be a challenge without
using up large amount of screen real estate. Ideas for how to display more
than three compressor panels without having to resort to a scrollview or
making everything really tiny are welcome. I'm not sure if we want to add
knob but maybe we can make the sliders/meters all loose some weight?
